Austrian Grand Prix Free Practice 3:
By Harry Schofield:
Saturday Morning at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, with the drama’s of Free Practice 2 yesterday, the teams have had a lot of data to analyse overnight, especially the big incidents where winds or the sudden imbalance of the car was to blame.
The first half of the session was for once “drama free” The Red Bull of Max Verstappen was doing development work as there was loads of high vis paint on the rear wing of his car.
The sister Red Bull Of Pierre Gasly Was spending a lot of time in the garage as his car had suspected power unit issues.
As the session drew to a close it was the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc remained quickest of all.
As we know, Mercedes can turn the engines up in this afternoons qualifying, so although Ferrari look strong can the battle of the engine modes in qualifying be key.
