Austrian Grand Prix Qualifying By Harry Schofield:
Track temperature was a staggering 54’C at the Red Bull Circuit, giving the Mercedes's team a little worry before Q1.
It was like nothing had changed from 2019 as Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas was in a world of their own .
Bottas had a luck escape when he lost the back end of the W11 but survived with no major damage for Sundays race .
Valtteri Bottas did take pole with a 1:02.939 .
The surprise of the day came from Mclaren’s Lando Norris who put himself in P4 just 0.687s away from Valtteri.
Ferrari seem to be struggling with a design flaw which sees Charles Leclerc in 7th and Sebastian Vettell in 11th position for tomorrow race .
Max Verstappen just 0.538s away from pole man Bottas starts in 3rd position, which will be a fantastic start to watch .
