By Harry Schofield:

Lewis Hamilton wins the British Grand Prix for a record sixth time as Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc went racing James Bond Style.

Lewis was the victor of the afternoon but Formula 1 is not dead, the new blood of the sport has finally arrived.

Mercedes continued a dominance that the fans are pretty fed up with now Bottas getting his elbows out against Lewis in the first opening laps but nothing compared to the  drama of the Red Bull and the Ferrari of Max and Charles.

The Hass team with Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen made contact on the opening lap and both cars soon retired, big words the the big man Guenther Steiner, team principle after the race.

Not taking away Lewis Hamilton's impressive form from 2nd to a fantastic win, Leclerc and Verstappen had an epic battle Leclerc weaving under the braking zones, but Max pin point control and latest of the late brakers he was all over Leclerc for some fantastic racing we have never witnessed before.

Silverstone re ignited the passion that F1 has lost Max and Charles are the new future of the sport.

Sebastian Vettel and Max had a collision with Vettell out braked himself into the back of Max Verstappen’s Red Bull but fortunately Max had no damage, Vettel had to pit with a replacement nose and lost position down to 15th place.

A solid Grand Prix with excellent racing, surely Sebastian’s Vettel’s Number 1 status in Ferrari is under big pressure moving into the summer break ? Retirement for Vettel at the end of 2019 Who know’s?
