Lewis in the sister Mercedes was 3rd as Sebastian Vettel in his Ferrari came in second place.

A best ever Formula 1 Finish for the Red Bull driver Alexander Albon who took a fantastic 4th place.

The charging Max Verstappen had to retire from the race with contact with Charles Leclerc, the Red Bull’s floor was damage to much with a estimated loss of 20% downforce with the damage to the floor.

The weekend has caused major disruption over Japan with Typhoon Hagibis causing qualifying to be done on Race day Morning.
