Charles Leclerc took his forth consecutive Pole Position of the 2019 Formula 1 season

Charles is the first Ferrari driver to do this since the great Michael Schumacher in the glory days of Ferrari.

Lewis Hamilton was 0.402 seconds behind the Ferrari, with questions now being asked about the development of the Mercedes.

Mercedes got to comfortable now Ferrari have developed at such a rate it has taken Mercedes by surprise.

Alex Albon in the Red Bull had a spin which puts him at the back of the grid.

Max Verstappen put in a solid performance with 4th place on the grid with a time of 1:32.310 .

The race will be tight in the opening laps, the Mercedes will have to open the engine map modes up to stand a chance of catching the Ferrari’s but ultimately risk  reliability issues .
